Hesperides is a Parisian quarterly magazine featuring seasonal fruits and vegetables. The idea is to inspire folks to buy local and seasonal produce. The extra large magazine makes the fruits and veggies look just as tasty as they really are. Eating seasonal foods is environmental, economic and healthy!
The name Hesperides comes from Greek mythology. The Hesperides were nymphs that protected a sacred garden containing an apple tree producing golden apples that grant immortality. The name represents the idea that every fruit and vegetable should be treated with the same respect and importance as a golden apple.

Illustration and layout design for a series of 8 posters for “Les Communs du Numérique” (digital commons). The posters illustrate the use of digital lesson plans in the classroom. Eight teachers explain their use of digital devices in their classroom through a series of videos, and each poster accompanies the plan.

Today we’re living in a digital world highly influenced by technology which is becoming more and more a part of our daily life. From taking pictures of our meals on Instagram, to ordering our groceries online, even food is becoming digital. The majority of food images we see are colourful, fresh, clean, and appetizing. However, when it comes down to it, a photo is just a copy of the actual food; a digitalized version of what we see before us.
Even just an image of food is capable of making our mouths water. The force of an image mixed with hunger can be quite powerful.
